Research

I am interested in the theory, design, implementation, and application of advanced declarative programming languages. In particular, my Ph.D. thesis -supervised by Dr. Ernesto Pimentel- is focused on the theoretical foundations, design, analysis, and implementation of linear logic programming languages featuring concurrent and object oriented capabilities. I have implemented UMA Forum; an expressive fragment of Dale Miller's Forum Specification Language. My research interests include but are not limited to:

• programming language implementation techniques
• proof theory, type theory, typed lambda-calculi
• process algebrae, in particular those encompassing mobility
• object-orientation

So here I am, working hard towards a Ph.D. in Computer Science. However, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten...

I am a member of the GISUM research group.
